°˖✧NīANSA✧˖° is an interspecies outdoor gathering initiative primarily focused on fostering collective, deep listening experiences by exploring the symbiotic relationship between soundscape and landscape. Through active, sensory communion with the sonic and natural surroundings, we reflect on the interconnectedness of nature and human experience, cultivating a heightened awareness of sound and its profound impact on our perception and consciousness.
Moving beyond conventional institutional norms, we strive to craft bespoke, delicate playgrounds where creators and wanderers alike collide, exchange, and voyage freely. We envision our gatherings as a departure from the typical festival grind. Instead, we like to think of them as temporary, world-built microcosms, where like-minded beings from all walks of life, converge to connect, touch grass, and drift together into the luminousness of the unseen and the unheard.
In addition to the aural dimension, we place equal importance on the visual and experiential layers of our gatherings. Scenography-related works—such as projection mappings, site-specific installations, contemporary dance performances, and unique world-building experiences—transform the landscape zone during NiANSA, offering a full-spectrum sensory delight for every voyager traversing with us.
LOCATION
This year’s NiANSA portal opens in the lush embrace of Rakov Škocjan Landscape Park. Our main gathering point centers around Guest-house Rakov Škocjan—the NiANSA mothership for this journey—nestled just 150 meters from the ever-flowing Rak River and a 10-minutes walk from both the Big and Small Natural Bridges. Over three days (June 6th–8th, 2025), this luminous, exrtraordinary karst landscape becomes a shimmering, kaleidoscopic playground for sensory exploration.

From exploratory live music, sound and visual art, and avant-garde dance performances to hyper-specific and genre-defying DJ explorations, site-specific installations, experiential workshops, guided sound walks, and collective deep-listening sessions—all seamlessly interwoven with bespoke world-building experiences hand-crafted for this exquisitely rare set and setting.
